Currently, Factiverse AI Editor can automatically identify claims in over 40 languages. However, you get the most precise and factual answers in English. We are continuously developing our model on news and sources from more countries.

Plugins from OpenAI are still in Beta, and changes are likely to occur. Currently you can get the best results by simply writing the factual claim you want to check ("The earth is flat") or you can write "fact-check" or "verify" before you add your text. You can also fact-check entire outputs by asking "Verify the above output or a specific claim".

Factiverse can access the latest information and sources in real time. Everytime you check a claim or analyze a whole text, we do live searches in public databases such as Google, Bing, Wikidata and Wikipedia. Our machine learning then ranks these sources based on past credibility on a given topic.

Factiverse may face challenges when dealing with numerical claims, as they can be difficult to interpret accurately. We are working with the brightest minds at TU Delft on improving that. Our service also does best on claims that have between 3-10 words. Longer sentences may produce errors in our assessment.

We use Hotjar to improve user experience and we store your queries anonymously in order to enhance the performance of the Factiverse. We will never store or share any personal information internally or to 3rd parties.

We anonymize all data that you submit to us and comply with GDPR. We are not utilize your fact-checked content to further enhance the capabilities of Factiverse, unless you provide direct feedback on whether you agree or disagree with our search results. You can easily opt out from anonymous data sharing by clicking your profile icon in the Editor.
